The New York Lactation Consultant Association (NYLCA)

is comprised of members who are International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) and other professionals and volunteers who work with breastfeeding families. Some of our members serve as executive executive board members, coordinators of specific services, liaisons to other organizations, and chairs of special committees.

If you are a parent, check out the services offered by our members and the standards we set for listing their services.

If you work with breastfeeding families and are not yet a member, please consider becoming a member. If you are already a member, feel free to contact us about volunteering for various positions and committees.

NYLCA is an affiliate member of the United States Lactation Consultant Association (USLCA). The USLCA is, in turn, an affiliate member of the International Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA). We also coordinate with our neighboring affiliate, the Long Island Lactation Consultant Association (LILCA).
