Information About the Executive Board

The officers of the Executive Board of the New York Lactation Consultant Association voluntarily serve a two-year commitment. An officer must be a member of the New York Lactation Consultant Association (NYLCA) and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). NYLCA members can vote for candidates for the positions of President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Education Director, and Secretary at the Annual General Meetings in June. The position of Membership Secretary is appointed. The position of Executive at Large is an Emeritus Position created by the President in 2008.
