Information About Conferences

The New York Lactation Consultant Association (NYLCA) organizes conferences for providers to enhance their knowledge about breastfeeding and related fields that may influence breastfeeding. Our conference format will typically include presentations by one or more speakers followed by an opportunity for discussion. We design some conferences to delve into detailed information specifically related to a particular topic in breastfeeding. We design other conferences as a forum to promote dialogue among related professions because it often fosters new insights and mutual enrichment.

During some events, the conference format may be accompanied by workshop activities to build complementary skills.
